The Friends of Droste Foundation was established in 2018 to continuously draw attention to the cultural and historical value of Droste. We do this by sharing information on this website, recording stories and organizing events.
COLLECT STORIES
Many Haarlemmers or their family members were employed by the old chocolate factory and have special memories of it. We collect their stories so that we can publish them on our website. Look here for a first impression.

*** Huge interest during Open Monument Day 2024 ***
During the Open Monument Days 2024 you had the chance to discover this historical heritage. We showed the photo exhibition of the demolition, the transformation to living and the historical film images. Through our stories you were taken on a journey through the fascinating history of Droste Cacao. The interest was great! During the 2 monument days we received more than 1800 visitors. Once again an overwhelming success, thank you!
